New for Fall 2013 - Full & Half Day Programs Available!
We are now accepting enrollment for the 2013/2014 school year. We are very excited to announce that we will be offering an extended day program Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm in addition to our half day program Monday-Friday, 8:30-1pm. Both programs offer 3, 4 or 5 day options. Take a look around our website and then come to one of our upcoming open houses on March 9 & April 6, 10am-12pm.
Our Mission
The Great Barrington Cooperative Preschool is a non-profit school founded in 1972. Our mission is to provide children and families in the Southern Berkshires with an affordable, high-quality, arts-based preschool experience that serves every aspect of a child’s growth and development.
Philosophy
We offer a program for young children that aims to educate the whole child. Our program emphasizes social and emotional growth while giving careful attention to cognitive and physical development. We emphasize independence in a nurturing environment, learning through experience, and the exploration of diverse subjects through the arts.
